Verve the new Women In Architecture Upstate Newsletter

I have gone silent in my posts of late. It is not for a lack of trying, merely that work has been going incredibly well. Architecture is a feast or famine industry and I am channelling my inner squirrel and feasting now. Back in August I wrote a short ‘article‘ about myself at the request of the WIA Upstate chapter.

After three years back in the upstate and in business on my own, things have changed for the better. Things have changed even more since August, as I am happy to say that I have been commissioned to do the first commercial project as Catherine Smith Architect! So for the next few months I’ll be continuing to design several bathrooms, closets and kitchens (with some help) and working to renovate an old restaurant into The Fred McCain Meeting House for The Turning Point of SC.
